Kenmore Dryer PF Error Code
Power went out during a cycle on Kenmore dryers.
KenmoreAll Kenmore dryer codes
The dryer lost power partway through a load and is letting you know. A brief outage in the house is the common cause. If PF keeps appearing on normal days, a loose plug, a worn cord or a weak outlet may be cutting power on and off.

How to fix Kenmore PF
Resume or clear
On Elite and Elite Oasis models, press Start to carry on with the cycle, or Stop to clear the display. On a 110-series electronic model, restart the cycle.
Look at the plug
Unplug the dryer and check that the plug isn't scorched, bent or loose in the wall. A plug that slips out with a light tug or shows dark marks needs attention before the next load.
Inspect the cord
With the dryer still unplugged, look along the power cord for cuts, crushed spots or melted insulation. A damaged cord needs replacing.
When to call a technician
Have an electrician look at the outlet if it's scorched or loose, or if PF keeps showing up with the cord in good shape.
