Inlet thermistor fault on Kenmore dryers.
KenmoreAll Kenmore dryer codes
This sensor sits near the heat source and watches the temperature of air entering the drum. F24 means it reads open and F25 shorted. On Elite and Elite Oasis dryers it's built into one assembly with the high-limit thermostat, so the two are replaced together.
Compatible models
Kenmore Elite dryers, the Kenmore Elite Oasis dryer and Kenmore 110 model VMAX dryers, as Sears PartsDirect lists them.
Also shown as
F:24 and F:25 on Elite models, F-24 and F-25 on the Elite Oasis, F3 E3 on the 110 VMAX. On 417 dryers, E24 and E25 are thermistor faults covered in their own entry.

How to fix Kenmore F24 / F25 / F3E3
Try a power reset
Switch off the breaker or pull the plug, give it a few minutes without power, then try a heated cycle.
Clean the lint path
While the dryer is unplugged, clean the lint screen and vacuum out the screen slot. Lint near the heater doesn't cause a sensor fault by itself, but it's worth removing before anyone works near that area.
When to call a technician
Sears PartsDirect lists a reading of about 50,000 ohms at room temperature for a healthy inlet thermistor. Have a technician check it and the harness to the main board, then replace the sensor assembly if it's open or near zero.
