How to fix Kenmore LE
Clear the sump
Turn off the breaker. Remove the lower rack and filter, then look into the sump with a flashlight and pull out anything stuck there, especially broken glass (wear gloves).
Rinse the filter
Wash the filter under the tap with a soft brush and put it back so it locks in place.
Try a cycle
Restore power and start a short cycle. Listen for the wash motor humming but not spinning.
When to call a technician
If the sump is clear and LE returns, the circulation pump motor or its wiring needs testing. Book a repair.
