Midea Air Conditioner EH 03 Error Code
Indoor fan speed out of range on Midea air conditioners.
MideaAll Midea air conditioner codes
The board told the indoor blower to run at a set speed and the fan didn't get there. Blocked vents can slow it down. If the airflow path is clear, the fan motor itself is the usual suspect.
Compatible models
Wall-mounted Midea mini-splits with the four-character display, as listed on Midea's own code sheets. Check the code table in your manual.
Also shown as
Shown as E3 on older Midea mini-splits. EH 02 is a related zero-crossing signal fault, which Midea says doesn't apply to units with a DC indoor fan motor.
Difficulty

How to fix Midea EH 03
Clean the filters
Switch the unit off, lift the front panel, and slide out the mesh filters. Rinse them in lukewarm water, let them dry fully, and put them back.
Clear the vents
Move curtains or furniture away from the intake grille and louvers, and take anything stored on top of the indoor unit off it.
Run it on high fan
Once it's back on, run the unit on high fan for a few minutes and listen. Grinding, squealing or a fan that never speeds up points to the motor.
When to call a technician
If you hear grinding or squealing from the indoor unit, or EH 03 comes back with clean filters, call a technician to check the fan motor and blower wheel.
