MideaAll Midea air conditioner codes
The sensor clipped to the indoor coil (T2) is giving a reading the board can't use. The board relies on it to protect the coil from freezing in cooling and to manage heating, so the unit stops.
Compatible models
Shows on Midea ductless wall units that use the newer code set. Midea doesn't tie it to specific model numbers.

How to fix Midea EH 61
Note the timing
After a power reset, watch whether EH 61 shows right away or only after the unit has run a while. That helps the technician tell a dead sensor from a loose plug.
Check the filter
A badly clogged filter can let the coil ice up, so clean it while you're there. It won't fix a failed sensor, but it rules out one problem.
When to call a technician
A code that keeps coming back means the coil sensor or its wiring needs replacing, which is a technician job.
