LG Dishwasher F31 Error Code
Heat dry fan not running. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
On models with Dynamic Heat Dry, the drying fan motor is not running. The fan motor or a related component has likely failed.
Dynamic Heat Dry models only.
How to fix LG F31
Reset the power
Turn the dishwasher off, then switch off its circuit breaker for about 10 seconds and switch it back on. Power the unit up and start a fresh cycle to see whether the code returns.
Note the code and model number
Write down the exact code, when in the cycle it appeared, and the model and serial numbers from the rating label (usually on the side or top edge of the door or tub). With nothing safe left to check yourself, this lets the technician bring the right part on the first visit.
When to call a technician
If F31 returns after a reset, request service for the heat dry fan.

What if F31 keeps coming back?
A code that returns after a reset and the checks above usually means a part is wearing out. Note when F31 appears (which cycle, how often) and have your model number ready; it helps a technician bring the right part on the first visit.
