LG Dishwasher CR Error Code
Stuck in test mode. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
CR means continuous run, a test mode used by installers and technicians. It is turned on by holding three buttons at once, sometimes by accident.
How to fix LG CR
Exit test mode
Press Power to turn the dishwasher off, wait one to two minutes, then turn it back on.
Avoid accidental button combinations
Test mode starts when three buttons are held at the same time. Clean the control panel with the dishwasher switched off, and avoid leaning on the buttons, so they are not pressed together by accident.
When to call a technician
If CR keeps showing after a restart, request LG service.

Frequently asked questions
What does CR mean on a LG dishwasher?
CR means continuous run, a test mode used by installers and technicians. It is turned on by holding three buttons at once, sometimes by accident.
Can I fix LG CR myself?
Usually, yes. Most CR problems clear with simple checks you can do at home. Start with the first step above: exit test mode.
What if CR keeps coming back?
A code that returns after a reset and the checks above usually means a part is wearing out. Note when CR appears (which cycle, how often) and have your model number ready; it helps a technician bring the right part on the first visit.
