Gree Air Conditioner H6 Error Code
Indoor fan airflow fault on Gree air conditioners.
GreeAll Gree air conditioner codes
GREE lists H6 as an indoor airflow fault. In practice the board isn't seeing the indoor fan run the way it should, which points to a blocked or dirty blower wheel, a failing fan motor, or a wiring problem to the motor.

Also shown as

How to fix Gree H6
Clean the filters
Remove and rinse the indoor filters. Very dirty filters slow the fan and starve the coil.
Look and listen
With the unit running, see if the louvers blow air at all and listen for scraping or humming without movement. Turn it off before you look closely at anything.
Note the noise
Tell the technician whether the fan was silent, humming, or scraping. It helps them decide between the motor and the blower wheel.
When to call a technician
If the fan doesn't spin or H6 returns, a technician needs to inspect the blower wheel and test the motor.

Often. The first steps above are safe checks a homeowner can do. If they don't clear H6, the cause is likely a worn part that needs replacing.
