How to fix Maytag LdU
Take everything off the lid
Clear baskets, bottles or folded laundry off the top of the washer. Maytag says objects sitting on the lid are what stop it unlocking.
Let the washer try again
Give it a moment to release. If it stays locked, unplug the washer for 5 minutes, then plug it back in.
