GE Dryer F010 / F011 Error Code
Cycle started with an empty drum or dry clothes. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
These are notices rather than faults. With F010 the control found no load in the drum when the cycle began; with F011 it found a load that was already dry. In both cases the moisture sensor had nothing to measure.

How to fix GE F010 / F011
Load wet clothes
Make sure there are damp clothes in the drum before starting a sensor or automatic cycle.
Start a new cycle
Close the door and start a new cycle with the wet load inside. That should clear the code.
Use timed dry for touch-ups
To fluff or warm clothes that are already dry, choose a timed or air-fluff cycle instead of a sensor cycle.
When to call a technician
If the code appears with a clearly wet, normal-size load, the moisture sensor may need checking by a technician.
