How to fix KitchenAid PO
Clear the message
Press Measured Fill, the button sitting under the blinking Confirm label. The display goes back to the home screen.
Sort the food
Fresh perishables such as meat, fish, dairy and cooked leftovers that spent more than 2 hours above 40°F (4°C) should go in the trash. Frozen items can go back in the freezer if they still have ice crystals or read 40°F (4°C) or below.
Rule out a power fault at the fridge
If the rest of the house never lost power, push the plug firmly into the outlet and look at the breaker panel for a tripped breaker.
When to call a technician
Repeated PO messages with no house outage suggest the outlet or the fridge's power supply is dropping out. Have an electrician check the outlet, then KitchenAid service if it tests fine.
