How to fix Miele F78

  1. Free the pump with warm water

Take out the lower spray arm and filter. Pour about 1 quart (1 liter) of warm water, 167°F (75°C) at most, with 3 to 5 drops of rinse aid into the cabinet. Wait 5 minutes, refit the parts and run the program. Repeat up to 3 times.

  2. Restart the program

Turn it off, wait a few seconds, turn it back on, pick the program and press Start/Stop.
