How to fix Miele F12 / F13 / F15
Open the supply valve
Check that the valve feeding the dishwasher (under the sink in most US kitchens, often a stopcock in UK installs) is fully open.
Clean the inlet filter
Switch off and unplug the dishwasher, then close the supply valve. Unscrew the hose from the valve, remove the seal and pull out the small plastic filter with needle-nose pliers. Rinse it, put filter and seal back, reconnect and open the valve slowly. The plastic housing on the hose holds an electric valve, so never dip it in water.
Straighten the inlet hose
Remove any kinks or tight loops. Check the hose again over the next few days, since a kinked spot can weaken and split. If it's damaged, contact Miele for a replacement.
Rule out low pressure
If other taps in the house are weak too, pressure may be under the 7 psi (50 kPa) minimum. That's one for a plumber or your building manager.
When to call a technician
If the water's on, the filter is clean and the code still shows, contact Miele Service.
