How to fix Worcester Bosch FA
Shut the boiler down
Switch off at the fused spur. Leave the casing, the gas valve and everything inside it alone.
Don't reset it repeatedly
Write the code down for the engineer and leave the boiler off.
When to call a technician
A gas valve that may not be closing needs a Gas Safe engineer straight away. Any smell of gas: no switches, open the windows, turn off at the meter if it's safe, go outside and ring your gas emergency number.
