How to fix GE PF
Check the plug and breaker
Make sure the power cord is pushed fully into the outlet and the breaker is on. If the cord is damaged, stop using the refrigerator until it's replaced. If water is near the outlet, switch off the breaker instead of handling the plug.
Check food in both sections
Throw out refrigerated perishables that were above 40°F (4°C) for more than 2 hours. A closed refrigerator keeps food safe for about 4 hours without power.
Clear the code
Press System Check if your model has it, or unplug the refrigerator for a minute or two and plug it back in.
When to call a technician
If PF keeps returning when the house hasn't lost power, have the outlet checked by an electrician and the refrigerator checked by a technician.
