Vaillant Boiler F.32 Error Code
Fan speed out of range on Vaillant boilers.
VaillantAll Vaillant boiler codes
The fan isn't spinning at the speed the boiler asks for, and the code also shows when the fan's frost protection kicks in. A blocked fan, a loose fan or PCB connector, a broken cable, a faulty Hall sensor in the fan or an electronics fault are the causes Vaillant gives.
Compatible models
Listed for ecoTEC plus VU ..6/6-5 OVZ boilers in their installation manual. Other ranges may differ, so look it up in your own manual.

How to fix Vaillant F.32
Reset once
Keep the reset button held down past the 3-second mark, then let go and see if the code clears.
Leave it off if it returns
A second F.32 means switch the boiler off, note the code and book a visit. The fan sits inside the sealed casing, so there's nothing more to try from outside.
When to call a technician
If F.32 stays, a Gas Safe engineer should test the fan and its wiring.
Parts linked to F.32
These are the parts an engineer usually checks for this code. They sit inside the sealed casing, so leave them to a Gas Safe registered engineer.
