Haier uses F1 through F9, plus Fr and Eh, for a fault with one of the temperature sensors. The control reads these sensors to decide when to cool and when to defrost. When one drops out, a compartment can run too warm or freeze things it shouldn't.

How to fix Haier F1-F9 / Fr / Eh
Turn it off and on
Unplug the fridge or switch off its breaker, wait a couple of minutes and restore power. Haier warns that a sensor code may clear and then come back a few hours later, so keep an eye on the display.
Check the temperatures yourself
Put a thermometer on a fridge shelf and another in the freezer. After several hours you want 40°F (4°C) or lower in the fridge and around 0°F (-18°C) in the freezer.
Protect perishables
If the fridge reads warmer than 40°F (4°C), move meat, dairy and leftovers to a cooler with ice packs.

Haier says none of its fridge error codes can be fixed by the owner, so book a technician once the code is back after a reset. A technician checks the sensor and its wiring back to the control board.
